F.A.Q.

1Where is the Labyrinth?
Via della Pace, 26 - Orvieto (TR) Italy. Click here to see the map
2How can you visit?
You can book directly on the website, pay the ticket on-line or purchase at the door.
3Why is it called the labyrinth?
There are a number of wells and caves connected by tunnels that bring you back in history to the city of Orvieto at least 20 centuries ago.
4How was the labyrinth discovered?
Adriano and Rita (the owners) fount it by surprise surprisingly when they were renovating the floor of their bakery 40 years ago, and thus decided to restore life to this sunken treasure.
5How was the labyrinth restored?
With passion and love for history and civilizations past, and by subsidizing their own pockets with a heritage that has now been recognized as ARCHAEOLOGICAL HISTORICAL PRESIDIO.
6Why you should visit?
It is a journey through history and time: medieval wells, Etruscan water cisterns, up through layers of volcanic eruptions from Bolsena and a 250 thousand year old fossilized plant.
